After 681 days of hair-pulling, foul language, blood, sweat, tears, brain swells, head-scratching, tall tales, short tales, and the occasional tool launch… RAGNAR 44 is officially roadworthy!

We are thrilled to embark on the road less traveled and invite you to follow along as we journey across several continents of our remarkable globe.

Thirty years after our destinies first crossed in Luck, Wisconsin (1995)—with wind in our sails and freedom in our souls—a new adventure awaits.

Newly retired and liberated from the malaise of alarm clocks, the bondage of homeownership, and the financial servitude of a time clock, we are ready to begin the next chapter of our lives. Travel has always been part of who we are, with nearly 100 countries already under our belts, but this journey is different.

Instead of lugging backpacks for a few weeks of vacation a couple of times every year, we’ll be driving our "todd"-built Sprinter van  (bathroom/shower, microwave, heated floors, queen-sized bed, fridge/freezer, Starlink, solar panels, etc,)   Ragnar, and will happily defer all the heavy lifting to him.
